Getting Started

Access to CSQ is provided by your organization’s administrator. Contact your system administrator to receive your login credentials. If your organization doesn’t have CSQ yet, contact P36 Sales to get started.
CSQ supports the following browsers:
  • Google Chrome (Recommended)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version for optimal performance.
Password reset procedures depend on your authentication method:
  • Standard Login: Contact your system administrator
  • SSO: Use your organization’s identity provider password reset process
A blank dashboard indicates that your administrator hasn’t yet assigned you to any use cases. Contact your administrator to be assigned the appropriate roles and permissions.

Use Cases & Configuration

A use case represents a flexible grouping of cloud services that you want to qualify together. Use cases allow you to:
  • Group one or more BTP services
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Plan continuous qualification testing
  • Generate compliance reports
To create a new use case:
  1. Navigate to Use Cases from the home page
  2. Click Create Use Case
  3. Follow the configuration wizard to add services and set up risk assessments
You need Use Case Designer or Admin role to create use cases.
Yes, services can be shared across multiple use cases. This reflects real-world scenarios where the same cloud service supports different business applications.
CSQ currently supports 31 SAP BTP services. If you need a service that isn’t available:
  1. Check the Services page for the current list
  2. Submit a request through Support for additional services

Testing & Qualification

Test execution frequency is configurable per use case. Options typically include:
  • Hourly
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Custom schedules
Contact your administrator to adjust test schedules.
When a test fails:
  1. A deviation is automatically created
  2. Consecutive failures are consolidated into a single deviation
  3. Configured notifications are triggered (email, Jira, HTTP)
  4. The deviation is resolved automatically when the test passes again
Initial qualification tests can be triggered manually from the use case configuration. For continuous qualification, tests run automatically based on the configured schedule.
Yes, tests can be enabled or disabled at the feature level during use case configuration. This allows you to tailor qualification to your specific requirements.

Deviations & Alerts

A deviation is an automatically created record when a test execution fails. Deviations help you track and manage issues with your cloud services:
  • Created automatically on test failure
  • Consolidated to avoid duplicates
  • Resolved when tests pass again
Notifications can be configured per use case. Available notification channels:
  • Email: Direct email alerts
  • HTTP(S) Webhook: Custom integrations via HTTP/HTTPS requests
  • Jira Service Management: Create and update JSM tickets
See Notifications for setup instructions.
If you’re not receiving notifications, check:
  1. Notification handlers are configured for your use case
  2. Your email isn’t blocking CSQ messages
  3. You have the correct permissions to receive alerts
  4. Contact your administrator to verify configuration

Reports & Documentation

CSQ supports several report types:
  • Configuration Reports: Use case setup and service mapping
  • Risk Assessment Reports: Criticality and impact analysis
  • Qualification Status Reports: Test results and compliance status
See Reporting for details.
Data export options:
  • Reports: Export as PDF directly from the platform
  • Full Data Export: Contact support for complete data exports in CSV/JSON format
Report templates are standardized to ensure consistency and compliance. For custom reporting needs, contact your Account Executive to discuss available options.

Account & Permissions

CSQ has three primary roles:
  • Observer: View dashboards and reports
  • Use Case Designer: Create and configure use cases
  • Administrator: Full platform access including user management
See User Roles for detailed permissions.
Contact your organization’s CSQ administrator to request role changes or additional permissions.
Role assignments are typically singular, with each higher role inheriting permissions from lower roles. Admins have all permissions by default.
