User Interface Overview

The cockpit is divided into 5 main components:

Services

Provides an overview of all provisioned services and their status

Dashboard

Allows all users to monitor services, track deviations, and oversee continuous test execution

Use Cases

Allows Use Case Designers and Admin users to create use cases, assign services, perform risk assessments, plan continuous qualification, generate reports, and configure notifications

Audit Log

All users can view the audit log for all user actions performed in the cockpit

Assessment Templates

Allows Use Case Designers to create and manage assessment templates for use cases

Configuration

Admin users can manage and add users, as well as assign them their specific roles
Only Admin users can operate and view all five components. Other roles have restricted access based on their permissions.

General Navigation

The platform uses a breadcrumb navigation system to help you navigate through different levels. Breadcrumb Navigation
  • A menu is displayed as a navigation path in the top left corner
  • From left to right, the starting point after logging in is the home page
  • When you click on a component, you are taken down one level
  • This level is added to the menu path in the top left-hand corner
  • You can return to the home page by selecting the ‘Home’ button in the path

Home View

After logging in, you’ll see the path menu in the top left corner with ‘Home’ as the starting point

Component Selection

Each click on a component takes you down one level. The last entry on the right shows your current level

Use Case Selection

After selecting a use case from the list, you’ll see the updated path

Quick Navigation

An arrow appears in the path at the entry for the selected use case, allowing you to change the chosen use case without leaving the current level

Platform Login

The CSQ Platform requires authentication to access its features. This guide covers the login process and initial setup for new users. To get access, you need to contact your system administrator to receive your user credentials.

Login Process

Access the Platform

Navigate to the CSQ Platform URL provided by your administrator.

Enter Credentials

Enter your credentials depending on the authentication method configured.
Contact your system administrator if you haven’t received your login credentials.

First Time Login

When logging in for the first time, you will be greeted with a blank dashboard. Your administrator will be required to assign roles and permissions before you can access any features.

Authentication Methods

  • Username/Password
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
Standard authentication using your assigned credentials.

Troubleshooting Login Issues

Please reach out to your system administrator to reset your password.

Security Best Practices

Always log out when finished using the platform, especially on shared computers.
  • Use strong, unique passwords
  • Enable multi-factor authentication when available
  • Never share your login credentials
  • Report suspicious activity to your administrator
